We do not ask for membership and we are open to all by appointment. The workshop is only open with an authorized person that will supervize the work on the bicycle.
We have a stock of used/recycled and new parts but we do not sell them separately; the bicycle parts supplied by us must be used in the workshop.
Maintenance and repair rates:
10 € for the use of the workshop from 1 to 3 hours *
8 € for students, social security recipients, GRACQ members or 60 years old and +
5 € for minor repairs (any intervention of less than one hour **
Recycled parts from 1 to 10 EUR (depending on the part) and some essential new parts at cost price
* Beyond 3 hours of workshop the rate is 7€ / hour
** Any more specific intervention (e. g. bleeding of hydraulic brakes, etc.) or requiring a cutting/milling tool cannot be considered as a minor repair and will be subject to the applicable fixed price,
even if its duration is less than 1 hour.
NB: these are non-contractual conditions, the detailed conditions are indicated in the Internal Regulations (ROI) of the association.
Some more Conditions of use of the Bike Workshop Question d'Equilibre
All participants must act "responsibly" with the tools and equipment and ensure that the workshop is put in order at the end of the working session.
All participants are responsible for their actions during the workshop and must therefore work within the limits of their abilities
and with the greatest care in order to avoid possible injuries
for which neither the supervisor nor Question d'Equilibre can under any circumstances be held responsible.
The participant's bike will be checked by the authorized supervisor before leaving the workshop in order to assess, as far as possible, its safety condition.
However, Atelier Vélo Question d'Equilibre asbl cannot under any circumstances be held liable for any accident
that may occur to the cyclist during a rental period or after having carried out a repair in our workshop.
For any situation not provided for in these regulations, the person in charge of the workshop is competent to take the appropriate decision.
